A FURTHER seven people have died with coronavirus in Dorset hospitals, latest figures show.

Data released by NHS England show four more people died at the University Hospitals Dorset Trust (UHD).

One person died at UHD on February 10, two people died on February 9 and there was another fatality on February 5.

And three more people died at the Dorset County Hospital, one on February 10 and two on February 9.

Since the start of the pandemic, a total of 607 people have died with Covid at UHD, 98 people have died at the Dorset County Hospital and 67 have at the Dorset Healthcare Trust.

In hospitals across England, a further 407 people who tested positive for Covid-19 died, taking the total to 78,152.

Patients were aged between 25 and 101 years old and all but 17 had underlying health conditions.

The deaths date back to February 9 and 29 came in the south west.
