FERNDOWN Post Office has closed temporarily after an outbreak of Covid-19.
The Post Office, in Victoria Road, said it hoped to reopen on February 15 after a deep clean.
A statement on its Facebook page said: “Unfortunately due to an outbreak of Covid-19 amongst our staff we have no option but to temporarily close.
“Hopefully, our team will be well enough for us to reopen on Monday February 15, please keep an eye on our Facebook page for any update to this.
“The shop is being deep cleaned by fogging before we reopen.
“We apologise for the inconvenience this will obviously cause.
“Please spare a thought for our team who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to finally catch it when there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
