NEARLY 200 coronavirus cases were confirmed across Dorset over the last 24 hours, figures reveal.
Data released by the government shows 195 cases were recorded in the county in the 24 hours leading up to 4pm today, Sunday, February 7.

The BCP Council area recorded 129 new cases, taking the total since the start of the pandemic to 23,231.
In the seven days leading up to February 2, the latest seven-day rolling period, 1,294 cases were confirmed in BCP, giving a rolling infection rate of 327.3 per 100,000.
The Dorset Council area recorded 66 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 10,323.
The rolling rate stood at 182.6 per 100,000 after 691 cases were recorded in the lead up to February 1.
Elsewhere, 38 cases were confirmed in the New Forest, taking the total to 5,508.
The rolling rate was 134.4 with 242 cases confirmed in a week.
