A BUNCH of daffodils wrapped in flower paper and with the message “To cheer you in lockdown” appeared lodged in my letter box a few days ago. Other neighbours report they too received this touch of spring from an unknown angel.
Our little lane in St Ives has a very caring and kindly person but we do not know who it is. So we will be putting out a thank you note on our fences. If you read this, kindly friend, please know you have brought a smile to our faces and a touch of Spring to our homes. A touch of joy in these terrible times.
