I RECENTLY heard on the radio that Cornwall has received a record number of enquiries for holidays this year, presumably on the basis that lockdown is lifted, but there may continue to be restrictions on going abroad.
This left me wondering what plans BCP has in place for our area so that we do not have a repeat of last year?
Will BCP be publishing and implementing a strategy to ensure visitors and locals remain safe, that toilets are available to prevent defecation in the bushes and behind beach huts, that unruly parking is dealt with quickly and efficiently, that litter is collected, and that fires do not desecrate our landscape from prohibited barbecues and wild camping?
The Easter holidays are fast approaching and it would be reassuring to know that plans are in place to protect people and our environment.
