A MAN has appeared in court after having a kitchen knife at Poole Bus Station.

Jordene Scott, 21, had the bladed object at the site in Kingland Road on November 27 last year.

He was charged with possession of a knife and appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday, January 29, where he admitted the crime as well as breach of a conditional discharge order made for an offence of criminal damage.

Magistrates were told the knife offence happened just two weeks after the criminal damage case had appeared in court.

The bench committed the defendant, of Twyford Way, Poole, to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months.

Scott was ordered to complete 25 days of rehabilitation activity requirement and pay £85 costs and a £128 surcharge.

The knife was to be forfeited and destroyed. No action was taken on the breach of the conditional discharge order.
