A WOMAN who drove to collect her boyfriend after his car was seized by police lost her vehicle too because she had no tax or insurance.
Police stopped a black Mercedes which had no MOT or tax during routine patrols on Thursday January 28.
The driver had the car seized and was also handed a £100 fine for no MOT and will have to pay a £150 recovery charge.
When his girlfriend arrived to collect him in her white Mercedes checks revealed she had no insurance or tax so it was seized and a fixed penalty issued. She will also have to pay the recovery charge.
