POLICE have issued a warning about a suspicious vehicle operating in South Dorset.
Occupants of a blue Jeep Cherokee, registration **52 VXY were enquiring about buying plant machinery and were also believed to be paying attention to farms.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police Rural Crime Team said: "The vehicle is registered out of county so please note it could come to notice county wide.
“If this vehicle or other vehicles are seen acting suspiciously, please gather as much information as possible such as the registration number and descriptions of the driver and any passengers and if it’s safe to do so please do take a photograph, don’t put yourself in danger to do this.
“Please contact Dorset Police immediately by calling 999 if the vehicle or occupants are seen committing crime.
