Bournemouth beach was busy with residents walking along the promenade and using beachside takeaway services, two days after the second national lockdown
POLICE are urging the public to stay away from busy beaches this weekend.
They said the number of visitors last weekend was "concerning" and suggested people find somewhere a little less busy to go.
A spokesman said this morning: "The crowds on our beaches last weekend were concerning. We must all do our bit to stop the spread of Covid-19. If the place you take your daily exercise is busy, please find somewhere else local to go, or maybe try a different time.

"It isn’t ideal, but it can help us all stay safe."
