Bournemouth Oceanarium is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
A special event will he held this weekend to mark the milestone.
The Oceanarium opened back on September 4, 1998 and soon after visitors arrived in their thousands.
Less than a year later and the coral reef feature was added, providing groups with touch tanks.
Youngsters enjoyed sleeping with the fishes when a large science sleepover was held among the tanks.

Mike Hill raised cash for charity when he embarked upon a 24hr sponsored dive with the sharks.
The photographs were taken of the public and staff enjoying the aquarium over the years.
