BOURNEMOUTH has been named in the top ten of vegan-friendly towns and cities in the UK, for the second time in three months.
In the latest research, by the online comparison site SaveOnEnergy, Bournemouth was ranked ninth – with a score of 87.
The score was arrived at by using the online tools Findercom then cross referencing data with Google maps and 'vegan' related search volumes per town and city.
Bristol topped the table with a 133 score, while Bradford came in last with just 19.
The research was carried out to coincide with Veganuary, a month-long initiative to promote veganism.
In November, last year, Bournemouth was also named as one of the top ten major towns and cities to eat out as a vegan, this time in research carried out by the health supplement company Your Zooki.
Their findings were based on data analysed from TripAdvisor.
On this occasion Bournemouth was ranked at number four, with 83.21 vegan-friendly restaurants per 100,000 people.
Topping the Your Zooki list was Brighton, with 145.3 vegan-friendly restaurants per 100,000 people.
