POLICE have been patrolling a road in Studland following reports of "boy racers" driving in the area.
Officers from Purbeck Police monitored Ferry Road, which runs from the Shelly Bay ferry terminal towards Swanage, on Wednesday, January 19.
However, no untoward behaviour was witnessed by police.
A spokesperson for Purbeck Police said: "I've been in Studland this afternoon following recent reports of 'boy racers' using the road from the ferry as a race track.
"No doubt they wanted to test their driving skills by driving fast on a straight bit of road
"Anyway, all I found was a few old deer stood by the side of the road."
