A WOMAN has come forward after a CCTV appeal was launched to find two people who made off from a restaurant without paying.

But police still hope to identify a man captured on camera at Soho in Christchurch.

At around 9pm on Wednesday December 23 2020 a man and woman entered the Church Street restaurant and ordered food and drink to the value of £68.25. They left the premises around an hour later without paying their bill.

Following a CCTV appeal, a woman has come forward and is helping officers with their enquiries. No arrests have been made.

Officers are continuing to appeal for information to help identify a man they would like to speak to as part of their investigation.

Police Community Support Investigator Cheryl Belfield, of East Dorset police, said: "We are still carrying out enquiries into this incident and would ask that anyone who recognises the man pictured contacts Dorset Police."
