A ROAD in north Dorset was closed earlier today due to a police 'incident' which involved a caravan fire.
Fire crews were called before 5am this morning to attend the incident on the B3081.
The road was reopened by police at about 10am.
The fire led to the road being closed between the West Bourton turn-off and Longbury Hill Lane (turn-off to North Dorset Rugby Club).
Motorists were urged to find an alternative route while the road was closed.
No one was injured.
In a post on Facebook, North Dorset Police said: "B3081 now open after earlier incident. Thank you for your patience with diversions."
