CAN you believe it's been 30 years since Westover ice rink was shut?
For the Bournemouth Ice Figure and Dance Skating Club the moment was too much to bear.
Shortly before the shutters fell on January 6, 1991, members hugged each other and held hands as they slowly skated to the poignant sounds of Auld Lang Syne.
After 60 years of service the Westover Road site closed for good.
These pictures were taken on that dark day for local ice-skating.
