NEARLY 700 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Dorset and the New Forest in the last 24 hours.
And infection rates in all three local authority areas have also risen.
A further 419 cases have been recorded in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole which now has an infection rate of 312.9 cases per 100,000 population. There have been 10,813 cases since the start of the pandemic.
Two further coronavirus deaths in Dorset hospitals in last 24 hours
In the Dorset Council area there are 187 new cases, bringing the total to 5,035, with an infection rate of 159.3.
The New Forest has 73 new cases, a total of 2,925 and a rate of 209.9.
