POLICE seized a car for being in a dangerous condition because its brake lights were not working.
The Honda Civic's high-vis brake light in the back window was constantly on but its actual brake lights didn't work at all.
A red ford Fiesta was also stopped for red light offences - it has them on the front as well as the back.
The driver was asked to remove them and issued with a vehicle defect rectification scheme notice.
Officers from the Dorset Police No Excuse team urged motorists to ensure their cars are in a safe condition.
