FOUR people in Wimborne are celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to their postcode.
The Pilford Heath Road neighbours landed the windfall when BH21 2NB was announced as a People’s Postcode Lottery Daily Prize winner on Wednesday.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson said: "What great news to start your day. Congratulations to our winners, I hope they enjoy their winnings."
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf of Crisis which has received more than £5.7 million in funding thanks to players. The charity is dedicated to ending homelessness and throughout the year helps around10,000 people in England, Scotland and Wales.
