THE changing situation relating to Covid-19 across Dorset can be seen in a map on the government website.

The map, which uses data from Public Health England, shows a growth in cases across some parts of the county.

It grades Middle layer Super Output Areas (MSOAs) on the severity of their rolling rate with places seeing the highest number of infections coloured purple, known as 'hotspots'.

Dorset does not currently have any coronavirus 'hotspots' identified on the map.

Oakdale East has seen 21 new cases with 26 in total, bringing the rolling rate per 100,000 people to 286.7.
