BPC Council should take over the Debenhams store in town and convert it into a coastal museum (include dinosaurs for the Jurassic era, the life of Mary Shelly etc...), and a large art gallery.
The times of the high street for shops is over, the internet has won.
What people need is for the town centre to be turned into a community space.
Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch are lacking in museums and galleries, and frankly it is embarrassing.
We have a real opportunity now to turn the town into a beacon of culture and healthy lifestyle on the south coast. Imagine a time of fantastic beaches combined with being a destination for art, music, entertainment.
