REGARDING the advice from the Government to avoid catching Covid19, I would suggest that perhaps Verwood would be a place to avoid.
My wife and I visited Pottern Park for a nice healthy walk on our own at 1pm.
Afterwards we sat in our car and had a cup of coffee before driving home.
Unbelievably, a group of two men and three ladies all I would guess were in their seventies, arrived back at the car park I assume from having a nice healthy walk themselves.
The two men walked together and the ladies walked within a couple of feet of one another.
We were quite amused at the antics of one of the men who had a walking stick, as he was swinging it around quite frantically, in what we assumed was comical demonstration of how he could maintain a distance between himself and other people.
This was the amazing part: When they split up to go to three different cars there were cheek kisses all round, making sure that no-one from the five was missed out.
So if any one of the five were infected there is a chance that they could have infected all of their friends, and in fact infect countless other people.
Of course I am not saying everyone from Verwood is like this, but hopefully the rather silly five will read this and follow the rules.
