BOURNEMOUTH is the UK’s most tired area, research has found.
More people in Bournemouth search online for sleep related problems per 100,000 of the population than any other area in the country, Kally Sleep has found.
31,940 sleep related searches were made in the town during 2020, a rate of 1,611 per 100,000.
In second was Bristol, with 1,514 searches per 100,000 people.
Insomnia was the most commonly searched sleep problem across the UK, with searches increasing by more than 16 per cent from last year.
The most commonly searched question was “how to stop snoring”, and Kally Sleep director Ori Leslau gave some tips to help.
He suggested losing some weight, changing position so you’re not on your back and avoiding alcohol before bed.
