A MAN who stole food, drinks and perfumes worth more than £1,000 admitted 11 charges of theft when he appeared in court.
Mustafa Saleh, 34, admitted stealing from Bournemouth town centre stores when he appeared before Poole magistrates.
Saleh, of Wavell Road, Kinson, Bournemouth pleaded guilty to offences committed between August and November.
They included the theft of around £500 worth of toiletries and fragrance from Boots in Commercial Road and nearly £400 worth of goods from Debenhams.
He also stole food and drink items including fish, steak, cheese and nearly £130 worth of Red Bull from stores including Tesco and Co-op.
Saleh was ordered to pay a total of £810.80 in compensation and was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months.
