A MAN was trapped in his vehicle following a crash which closed a North Dorset road.
Police were called at 2.55pm to reports of a two-vehicle collision at Spread Eagle Hill near Melbury Abbas.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Officers attended along with the ambulance service and road closures were put in place.
"The fire service also attended following reports one man was trapped in their vehicle but he was safely removed by the ambulance service.
"The man was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
"The vehicles are being recovered to allow for the road to be reopened."
