A MAN has been “de-arrested” following a crash involving a car and a set of traffic lights in West Parley on Friday.
As reported, police were called shortly before 7am to a collision in New Road near Parley Cross.
Officers attending along with the ambulance and fire service after a black Volkswagen Polo crashed into a barrier causing significant damage.
A man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and taken to hospital.
Providing an update on the incident, a spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “It appears the man who was arrested was subsequently de-arrested and has been released under investigation.
“While there is nothing on the log to confirm whether he has been discharged from hospital, he is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.”
