A MAN who assaulted three police officers in Poole has appeared in court.
Jonathan Robert Armstrong, aged 40, assaulted PC Flood, PC Dickson and PC Hancox by beating them in Tucker's Lane on September 6.
Appearing at Poole Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, November 11, Armstrong was issued with a community order having admitted the three charges against him at an earlier hearing
The defendant, whose address was given at St Margaret's Road, Poole, was fined £650 for each offence and ordered to pay £50 compensation to each officer, as well as a £95 surcharge and £85 costs.
This meant Armstrong faced an financial penalty of £2,280.
