“Large and powerful waves” are expected in Poole Harbour due to high spring tides, the Environment Agency has warned.
A flood warning has been issued for Poole Harbour at West Quay and Lower Hamworthy Quay.
Flood warnings are issued by the agency when flooding is expected and immediate action is required.
High water is due at at 9am on Sunday.
The warning was also in force for Saturday night's high tide.
An update on the Environment Agency website posted just before 4pm on Saturday says: “Flooding to roads and properties is possible at these times, however conditions may apply two to four hours either side of the high tide.
"Areas most at risk are Lower Hamworthy and areas of Poole from Old Town, The Quay to Hunger Hill.
“We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please be careful along beaches, promenades and coastal footpaths and roads and consider installing property flood resilience equipment.”
Elsewhere, flood alerts have been issued for Christchurch Harbour, Lower Avon and tributaries and Milford on Sea to Lymington.
A flood warning is also in force for Beaulieu.
