FOR the second consecutive day there have been no new recorded deaths involving coronavirus in Dorset’s hospitals.
Figures released by NHS England shows nobody has died with the virus in the county’s hospitals since November 6, when two people died at Poole Hospital.
It means Dorset's coronavirus hospital death totals throughout the pandemic remain at 85 for Poole Hospital, 77 for Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals, 25 for Dorset County Hospital and 17 for Dorset Healthcare sites.
There were no new recorded deaths on Monday either, meaning the total for the county’s hospitals remains at 204.
Across England, a further 300 people died in hospital with coronavirus, taking the total to 34,963.
Patients were aged between 35 and 100 years old and all except eight had underlying health conditions.
13 of the deaths came in the south west.
