A POLICE car that was left parked in Christchurch near a village shop has had its front window smashed.
The marked Dorset Police vehicle, which was located off Greywell, Hurn, is understood to have been damaged at some point overnight on Saturday, November 7.
Residents reported seeing the car undamaged on Saturday, however, members of the public passing the area on Sunday, November 8, spotted that two holes had been smashed in the front windscreen.
The driver's side of the 2013 registration plate Vauxhall had also sustained damage, with broken glass and pieces of trim on the floor.
A Hurn resident told the Daily Echo that had been reported issues of drug dealing and break-ins in the area in recent months.
