BOURNEMOUTH was one of the coldest places in the UK last night with temperatures plummeting to minus 2.1C.
Residents woke up to a frost this morning after the low temperature was recorded at Bournemouth Airport.
The coldest place in the UK was Benson in Oxfordshire at minus 3.1C, followed by Topcliffe in North Yorkshire, Shobdon in Herefordshire, Cairngorm in Scotland and Pershore in Worcestershire.
But the icy conditions are not set to continue.
Tonight will see temperatures hover above freezing with night-time levels returning to 5C by tomorrow night.
