I AM writing in response to Michael Anderson’s letter on October 15 and his seeming confusion regarding the cruise ships in the Bay.

He seems to be forgetting that the turbines will be permanent fixtures.

On the contrary the cruise ships are temporary, as was the oil rig.

He is forgetting that we are in a pandemic and those ships are there through no fault of their own.

The wind turbines will be out there permanently whilst once this pandemic is over the cruise ships will disappear.

As for pollution, I feel Mr Anderson needs to learn a bit more about how little these ships are actually not causing the pollution he thinks they are.
