PUPILS at Parkstone Grammar School are in self-isolation following positive coronavirus cases at the school.
Year 11 students are believed to be the ones affected as the number of schools reporting Covid-19 cases increases across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.
The school has not revealed how many students are affected or whether the positive cases involving staff, pupils or both.
Sam Crowe, Director of Public Health for Dorset and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Councils said: “We are aware of confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Parkstone Grammar School.
"All close contacts of the confirmed cases have been notified and advised to self-isolate for 14-days. Contacts of the confirmed cases should get tested if they go on to develop symptoms. Even if people test negative, they must still self-isolate for 14-days.”
