A SPECIAL guest from Salisbury joined the Wimborne Minster congregation for Patronal Festival at the beginning of the month.
The Bishop of Salisbury - The Right Revd Nicholas Holtam - Presided and Preached at the festival, on September 6.
This day should have been the occasion of the once in five years Flower Festival, which would have also marked the Minster's 900 anniversary of the start of the Minster Building.
However, due to coronavirus, the Flower Festival has been postponed until 2022.
During the Patronal Festival, which marks the anniversary of the death of St Cuthburga, the Minster Patron Saint, the Minster Choir made a return by singing socially distanced during the Parish Eucharist Service.
