SIR Christopher Chope is a legend. A legend in his own mind!

Why does he keep voting or railing against controversial bills in Parliament?

Is it because he has reached his seventies without ever achieving anything in government of note, so as a b-lister he has to keep his name in the news by any means possible?

He halted a bill on up skirting, another on female, mutilation and now he is complaining about people having to wear face masks in shops and supermarkets.

If he still has the nerve to put his name forward at the next election, I hope the voters shout object.
