Police were called to Parker Road in the early hours of this morning
POLICE were called to Parker Road in Winton in the early hours of this morning following reports of loud bangs being heard by residents.
Officers were called at 3.58am and they attended the scene.
Due to the caller stating they believed the noise could possibly be gunfire, armed officers attended and carried out enquiries and searches in the area.
No evidence was found to indicate any firearms had been used and the officers were satisfied that there was no cause for concern.
