POLICE came across a fly-tip which spilled into a Poole road and included a metal barbecue.
Officers from the Poole neighbourhood policing team found the stack of rubbish in Arrowsmith Road on Sunday, near the Arrowsmith Coppice heathland.
Along with a black metal barbecue, the dump included wooden household units, branches and leaves, photo frames and cans and bottles.
A spokesperson for Poole Police said: "Whilst out on patrol today the neighbourhood policing team located this mess discarded on the side of Arrowsmith Road.
"As well as the obvious risks to passing motorists at night should items fall into the public highway, fly tipping is a criminal offence and a blight on the environment.
"If anyone recognises where this may have come from we would be happy to follow this up."
