WESTBOURNE Conservative Club has reopened after staff coronavirus tests came back negative and the venue underwent a deep clean.

As reported, staff got tested and the Alum Chine Road venue was closed last week as a precautionary measure.

This followed concerns a member of staff had come into contact with someone in town who had coronavirus.

A club spokesperson told the Daily Echo that the site had now reopened.

A deep clean had been carried out, including the use of an anti-viral fog machine to assist in this work.
