WESTBOURNE Post Office is temporarily closed after a staff member tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
The post office branch on Seamoor Road has been shut to the public since Monday after a worker was found to have positive result on Sunday.
The store is being fumigated with anti-virus fogging, which is sprayed into rooms and settles onto surfaces, providing long lasting protection against viruses.
All staff members are currently awaiting test results to ascertain when the post office can reopen again.
A Post Office spokesperson said: “Westbourne Post Office has been temporarily closed since Monday as a member of staff tested positive on Sunday.
“All our staff are awaiting test results to help determine when the branch can re-open. The branch is today undergoing a deep clean and antivirus fogging.
“Alternative branches in the area include Ashley Road West, Alder Road, Canford Cliffs and Bournemouth.”
