A TUMBLE dryer caught fire at a property in Bournemouth this morning.
Fire crews from Redhill Park, Wimborne, Westbourne and Christchurch were called to the property in Stratton Road, Muscliffe, at 9.07am.
The tumble dryer, which is on the ground floor of the property in the kitchen, caused heavy smoke logging.
Firefighters used hose reels and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
Residents of the property self-evacuated during their call to the fire service.
The British Red Cross Emergency Response vehicle is also in attendance to assist the crews with their team of volunteers.
Fire crews remain at the scene.
