A MAN was attacked from behind along a Bournemouth road, 24-hours after being assaulted at the same spot.
The victim, a man in his 20s, says he was walking near the junction of Charminster and Mortimer Road when the unknown man came up behind him. It happened between 9.05pm and 10.05pm on Tuesday, August 25.
It also transpired the same victim had been involved in a separate altercation at the same spot around 10.30pm the previous evening.
He was not serious injured in either of the attacks.
Detective Constable Tony O’Connell, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are making enquiries into these incidents and I would urge anyone who witnessed any altercations taking place in the area on the relevant nights to please contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area of Mortimer Road or Charminster Road around the times in question and has dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please check their footage for anything relevant.”
