COASTGUARDS have warned those who take to the water this weekend to be prepared.
They have issued guidance to paddleboarders, kayakers and sailboarders following several rescues off the Dorset coast.
They urge people to have a shore contact who can alert emergency services if they are overdue.
And they ask people to have a means of calling for help with them, either a mobile phone in a waterproof case, a personal locator beacon or a flare.
