AN INTRUDER gained access to a field in Six Penny Handley and ran over six sheep with a vehicle.
Officers from Dorset Police Rural Crime Team have appealed for information following the crime, which a spokesperson for the team described as "appalling.
The incident happened between 8pm on August 21 and 8am on August 22.
Posting on social media, North Dorset MP Simon Hoare said: "Terrible. What scum would even think to do something like this and in my constituency too! Let’s catch the *******!"
He added: "This wanton violence makes my blood boil."
Anyone driving in the area at the time is asked to review dash cam footage and anyone who witnessed any vehicles acting suspiciously is asked to contact Dorset Police.
