POLICE are appealing for information from the public after a man went missing from his home in Wimborne earlier today.

David Stevens, aged 76, was reported missing having left his home address in Merley some time between 7.30am and 12.35pm on Tuesday, July 28 2020.

A further sighting of him was reported at Costa in Wimborne town centre at around 1.30pm.

David is described as white, five feet nine inches tall and of large build and is bald with grey hair at the sides.

"I would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us.

"It is possible David might have travelled by bus into Bournemouth and got off near the Cooper Dean roundabout at around 3.30pm this afternoon, but we are still waiting to confirm this report.
