Bournemouth School was founded in 1901 by Dr E Fenwick and the original building pictured here in 1912 was situated on Portchester Road until 1939 when the school moved to a new building on East Way in Charminster. The Portchester road site was demolished to make way for housing and is now the site of Fenwick Court.
