A MAN has appeared in court after having a dagger knife and knuckle duster with a spring loaded knife in a public place.

Sean Darren Clarke, aged 31 and of Chideock Close, Poole, had the bladed objects in Dunford Road, Poole, on May 31, without good reason or lawful authority.

Appearing at Poole Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, July 22, Clarke was sentenced having admitted the crimes at a previous hearing.

Magistrates' handed him two four-week concurrent prison sentences, suspended for 12 months.

He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £128 surcharge.

The bench made a court order to deprive the defendant of the dagger knife and knuckle duster.
