TWO RIVERSMEET Leisure Complex is offering customers a 25 per cent membership discount throughout August and September as they reopen today.

The gym, swimming pool and fitness classes are once again available to customers and new fitness equipment now installed in the gym.

BCP Council have taken the opportunity during the lockdown to upgrade to high specification cardio-vascular consoles and premium free weights equipment and resistance machines, all supplied by Pulse Fitness.

Councillor Lewis Allison, Portfolio Holder for Tourism and Leisure, said: “We hope investment in the facilities will encourage more people to visit Two Riversmeet Leisure Complex and enjoy everything it has to offer as part of a healthy lifestyle.”

Two Riversmeet Leisure Complex was enjoying record numbers of around 2000 membership subscriptions in the year prior to lockdown.

The 2RM Fitness team have live-streamed over 200 online fitness classes via their Facebook page during the lockdown period, receiving over 100,000 views.

Equipment has been socially distanced and six extra sanitising stations have been introduced within the gym.

No equipment has been decommissioned, only upgraded.

The leisure centre in Christchurch offering the remainder of July free of charge and up to 25 per cent off monthly fees during August and September for all new and existing members.

All activities must be pre-booked online or over the phone, and up to date timetables and a ‘’how to book’’ guide are available on the leisure centre's website.
