A 19-YEAR-OLD woman has been banned from driving for a year after she was caught drink driving in Ferndown.
Rebecca Hayter, aged 19 and of Aspen Drive, Verwood, admitted being at the wheel of Ford Fiesta on May 3 – during the coronavirus lockdown – with 42 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – the legal limit is 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath.
Magistrates sitting in Poole on July 14 issued her with a £107 fine and ordered her to pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge, as well as the 12-month driving ban
