CHERRIES striker Sam Vokes could be set for an extended spell on the sidelines after sustaining a suspected broken rib against Oldham today (Saturday).
The 18-year-old was stretchered off after being caught by Oldham defender Neal Trotman's 15th-minute challenge.
Vokes, who was penalised by referee Graham Horwood for fouling Trotman, took a nasty blow to the rib cage as the Oldham player followed through.
