A TABLE tennis player form Winton has been awarded a prestigious award for the 2019/2020 season.
Alistair Feltham, aged 53, has been awarded the prestigious David Woodcock Cup for the Most Improved Player in the Bournemouth and District League.
The committee unanimously decided to award this season's honour to Alistair for his terrific effort over the past 20 years, noting his improved winning average of 26 per cent, an increase on his average 5 per cent.
Alistair and his identical twin brother Duncan, who also plays in the league, have represented England in the Special Olympics, an event for those with learning difficulties.
Their travels have taken them to France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Poland, China, Ireland and Japan.
The twins' prowess for table tennis secured them an appearance on BBC South Today in October 2014 having won bronze in the Mens Doubles in the Special Olympics European Summer Games in Antwerp.
