IF ever popular music was a product of the environment in which it was created, it is that of Sigur Ros. Like the landscapes of their native land, their music is effortlessly other-wordly.
Heima follows Sigur Ros as they play a series of free gigs around Iceland at the end of their Takk world tour during which they made the leap from cult following to massive mainstream appeal, thanks in no small part to the use of Hoppipolla to trail the BBC's Planet Earth series.
Whether playing an abandoned fish factory, a Reykjavik arena or completely unplugged on the shadow of a giant dam, the unassuming quartet beguile and bewitch in equal measure.
